End collection and save your photos
Understand the collection cutoff, permanent ending, and the media-saving dates shown in the panel.
Check the collection deadline
Collection stays open for no more than 168 hours from the first lobby opening or event start. Draft preparation does not count toward that window.
The planned end time is schedule information. Editing it, stopping playback, reopening within the window, or activating another pass does not reset the collection deadline.
End the event only when you are finished
Check that collection is complete
Confirm guests have contributed the photos you need and review any pending content.
Use End event
Read the confirmation carefully before ending. This closes collection permanently, even if time remains.
Verify the ended state
Check the event status and connected displays. New guest joining and uploads are no longer available once collection has ended.
Save photos before the deletion date
Check the event’s retention and deletion notices in the panel. Use the available download controls to save the media you want to keep, and verify the files before their displayed deletion date.
The collection deadline itself does not delete photos. Pass validity, collection time, and media retention are separate, so do not assume a 30-day pass permits 30 days of guest uploads.
- Save important media while download access is available.
- Tell your team which files have been saved.
- Keep your own copy if photos must remain available after Happic’s retention period.
- Use the event’s displayed dates for existing purchases or custom arrangements.
Deleting an event is a separate action
An authorized owner or administrator may be able to delete a closed event. Deletion is different from ending collection and can start a separate data-removal process.
Do not delete an event as a way to stop playback or take a break. Save anything you need first.
