Your first Event Collection
Bring guest photos, branded frames, and connected screens together in one Happic event.
How an Event Collection works
An Event Collection is the shared space for one event. Guests join, upload photos, and contribute to a gallery that you control. You decide who can join, which photos are approved, and what plays on each Event Screen.
For example, create an event for a wedding, connect the reception display, share the guest QR code, and approve photos as they arrive. Add a personalized frame to give the collection a consistent look.
Understand the building blocks
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Event Collection | Organizes an event’s participants, media, access settings, and playback. |
| Event Screen | A separately controlled screen within your event. Its allowance comes from your event’s capacity. |
| Screen Collection | A separate content collection for a Web Viewer or paired display. Its allowance is distinct from Event Screens. |
| Frame | A reusable photo design with text, colors, and optional branding, assigned to a collection. |
| Event member | A person with a management role. Guests join as participants instead. |
Before you begin
- Sign in to the Happic panel and select the correct workspace.
- Check the trial or Event Pass capacity available for your event.
- Have access to a display if you want to show photos live. You can also connect one later.
- Prepare an event name and cover, plus a logo if you want branded frames.
Follow the setup path
Choose your capacity
Check participant, storage, and Event Screen limits. Understand when your pass needs activation.
Create the event
Complete Event, Screens, Access, and Review. Schedule and location can be added from settings.
Prepare the experience
Connect displays, customize the welcome lobby, choose a frame, and add your management team.
Welcome guests and go live
Open the lobby when ready, share the join details, then go live and manage incoming photos.
Finish and save
Save the photos you need before the displayed deletion date. End the event only when collection is finished.
Know the two clocks
A paid Event Pass starts its validity when explicitly activated. The collection window starts when you first open the lobby or start the event, and lasts no more than seven days. These clocks have different purposes.
Preparation time does not use the collection window. Stopping playback or changing the planned end time does not restart it.
Manage a Screen Collection
For managed media, playlists, or published screen layouts, use a Screen Collection. Its guides explain display setup, scheduling, and collection-specific user access.
