Schedule Screen Collection playback
Choose when the collection plays and what should happen when a scheduled window ends.
Use a schedule for planned changes
Open Schedule in the Screen Collection. Use the calendar to plan playback windows for this collection.
For example, play a welcome playlist when reception opens, then stop or show an end image after the scheduled window. Collection scheduling controls signage playback; it does not change an Event Collection’s guest-collection deadline.
Create a playback window
Select a date or time range
Choose the intended slot in the calendar or enter the schedule details.
Check the target and playlist
Confirm the collection target and select the playlist. The selected playlist is assigned when the schedule starts.
Choose the start action
Select Play, Pause, or Stop according to the behavior you need.
Check the timezone
Use the timezone shown in the schedule, especially when managing screens in another location.
Set an optional end time
Enable Set an end time when the window should trigger an end action.
Save and review
Review the saved calendar entry, times, target, and end action before relying on it.
Choose what happens at the end
An end time and its action are deliberate settings. Check the saved summary rather than assuming playback always stops when a calendar window ends.
- Keep playing leaves playback running after the scheduled window.
- Pause pauses playback at the end.
- Stop stops playback.
- Show media displays the selected end media. Choose a ready image or supported media and resolve upload errors before saving.
Edit or cancel a schedule
Open a saved schedule from the calendar or list to review and edit it. Use the schedule’s cancel action when it should no longer run.
Check Scheduled next in the overview after changes. Keep the display connected and verify a short test window before using schedules unattended.
