Your first Screen Collection
Prepare content, choose a playback source, and display it in a browser or on a connected screen.
What a Screen Collection does
A Screen Collection is a space for managing what one screen shows. Add images and videos, use a playlist, or play a published layout. Control playback and invite collaborators to this collection.
For example, create “Reception display”, add a welcome image and venue announcements, then open its Web Viewer or connect the reception TV.
Understand the parts
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Content | The collection’s private pool of images and videos, referencing workspace Media Library assets. |
| Media source | Plays selected images and videos directly. |
| Playlist source | Plays a selected playlist. |
| Layout source | Plays a published screen design with arranged areas. |
| Web Viewer | Shows the collection in a browser without a device pairing code. |
| Physical screen | A display connected through the Viewer pairing flow. |
Before you begin
- Sign in to the panel and select the correct workspace.
- Check Screen Collection access and remaining allowance.
- Prepare images, videos, a playlist, or a published layout.
- Have access to the intended display if you want to pair it now.
Set up your collection
Create the collection
Choose the Screen type, enter its details, choose content, and connect a display now or later.
Check playback
Verify the active source and the actual output in Web Viewer or on the physical display.
Manage ongoing updates
Maintain content, use schedules when needed, and give colleagues the appropriate collection role.
When to use an Event Collection instead
Use an Event Collection when guests should join and contribute photos. Its guest access, moderation, lobby, and seven-day collection window belong to the Event workflow.
A Screen Collection focuses on managed screen content. Its access depends on the workspace’s current entitlement; do not apply the Event guest-collection deadline to it.
