Help guests join your event

Share the guest join details

Guests can open your event using its public event link or participant QR. Once the lobby opens, Happic creates the Event code used for joining. Going live preserves that code.

Use the participant QR shown on the welcome screen. A Viewer pairing code is for connecting a display and will not join a guest to the event.

Add a private code

1. Open access settings

   During creation, use Access. For an existing event, open its access settings.

2. Enable Require a private code

   Choose four letters or numbers and save the settings.

3. Share the code with your guests

   Guests first open the event link, QR, or Event code, then enter this additional private code.

Approve guests before entry

Enable Approve guests before entry when you want a host to accept participants. New guests wait for approval before entering.

Monitor the participant list while guests arrive. Pending or blocked participants do not appear in the welcome roster. A private code does not bypass host approval.

Choose a participant limit

Set a limit within the event’s package capacity. In the creation form, 0 uses the package limit; it does not mean unlimited guests.

If someone cannot join, check whether they are waiting for approval, whether a private code is required, whether capacity is full, and whether collection is still open.

Try the guest journey

New event creation supports joining with access to the event link, with optional private-code and approval controls. Individual guest invitations are not offered in this creation flow. Management-team invitations are a separate feature.

• Open the guest QR or link on another phone.
• Enter the private code if enabled.
• Check the waiting screen if approval is required, then approve the test guest.
• Upload a test photo when uploads are available and confirm moderation behaves as expected.
