Assign users to a Screen Collection
Invite a collaborator and choose Admin, Editor, or Read-only access for this collection.
Share this collection with a colleague
Open Access inside the Screen Collection. Collection access lets you invite a collaborator to this collection without granting organization-wide membership.
A colleague may have a different workspace selected in their own panel. They should use the shared collection’s context rather than assuming their current workspace owns it.
Invite a collaborator
Open Access as an authorized admin
If the page says you cannot manage collection access, ask an administrator to make the change.
Enter the email address
In Invite a collaborator, enter the person’s intended account email.
Choose the role
Select Admin, Editor, or Read-only according to the person’s task.
Select Invite user
Check the resulting member or invitation status. A pending invitation still needs acceptance.
Choose the role
Collection roles do not grant workspace billing access or unrestricted use of the organization’s Media Library. Some operations still need workspace management permissions or an active entitlement.
| Role | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Admin | Manages collection access and administration. |
| Editor | Makes permitted changes to the collection. |
| Read-only | Views the collection without edit access. |
Update or remove access
Check the member’s status after each change. Sending or resending an invitation does not mean the recipient has accepted it.
- Change a member’s role when their responsibilities change.
- Use Resend for a pending invitation when another email is needed.
- Use Cancel to withdraw an invitation.
- Use Remove to revoke an eligible member’s access. Protected entries cannot be removed through these controls.
User access and display assignment are separate
Assigning a user grants panel access. Pairing or assigning a screen determines where content is displayed. Inviting a collaborator does not connect their browser as a playback device.
Likewise, a guest Event QR is not a Screen Collection collaborator invitation.
